Printable Chess Cupcake Toppers and Wrappers for Game Night

Turn regular cupcakes into a game of chess with these printable cupcake wrappers and cupcake toppers perfect for your next game night party dessert table.

When we were talking on Wednesday about great party food ideas for a game night party, I told you that we had Chess Cupcakes at our family game night.

It was such a simple and easy way to turn regular store bought cupcakes in to a special treat that really went with the game night theme.

Turning regular treats into awesome food ideas that relate to your party is an easy way to decorate your dessert table or add some yummy treats to a small party.

These cupcakes were purchased from Sam's club with a mix of chocolate and white cupcakes and frosting.  That way there is something for all the guests.

To make these cupcake wrappers and cupcake toppers, you need

• Cupcake downloads (get them here)
• Card stock
• Printer
• Scissors
• 2 inch Hole Punch
• Toothpicks
• Glue or Tape

These cupcake wrappers have a black and white checker board background to mimic a checkerboard.  Each wrapper has a notch and groove you can cut out to secure it, but can also be secured with just a piece of tape if you are looking for quick and easy.

The cupcake toppers  have each of the 6 chess pieces in both black and white with a checkerboard circle border.  Simply use the 2 inch punch to cut each circle out and secure it to a toothpick with tape or glue.
