After all, I think what the prophets are saying today is just as important as what the prophets of old said.  And if the words of wisdom can help me understand the parables and words that Jesus taught, then they definitely should be read and shared more often.

So for this week's Come Follow Me reading, Matthew 18 and Luke 10, I'm sharing some more printable quotes that you can share or add to your scriptures.

I also share these on my Especially for Mormon instagram page since I love to read uplifting quotes daily.

Feel free to print out the quotes above. (I recommend using regular paper so your scriptures don't get too bulky.)  I then add a little bit of double sided tape to the side of the quote (sometimes its the right side, sometimes it's the left, sometimes it on the bottom, or sometimes it on the top.)  It just depends on where I want the quote to sit on the page and still be able to lift to read the scriptures below.

If you'd rather just read and save the individual quotes, here they are along with the scriptural reference that I will share them by.

"Just because something is good is not a sufficient reason for doing it. The number of good things we can do far exceeds the time available to accomplish them. Some things are better than good, and these are the things that should command priority attention in our lives." --Dallin H Oaks
Luke 10:38-42

"Forgiveness heals terrible, tragic wounds, for it allows the love of God to purge your heart and mind of the poison of hate. It cleanses your consciousness of the desire for revenge. It makes place for the purifying, healing, restoring love of the Lord* --Richard G Scott
Matthew 18:33

"To be like a child is not to be childish to be like the Savior, who prayed to His Father for strength to be able to do His will and then did it. Our natures must be changed to become as a child." --Henry B Eyring
Matthew 18:3

"It can be very difficult to forgive someone the harm they've done us, but when we do, we open ourselves up to a better future. No longer does someone else's wrongdoing control our course. When we forgive others, it frees us to choose how we will live our own lives. Forgiveness means that problems of the past no longer dictate our destinies, & we can focus on the future with God's love in our hearts." --David E Sorensen
Matthew 18:22

"We need to remember that though we make our friends, God has made our neighbors--everywhere. Love should have no boundary.." --Howard W Hunter
Luke 10:29

Like the Good Samaritan, Jesus Christ saves those in need of help. He has compassion and heals the spiritual wounds of sin. He saves us from death. Jesus brings us to safety and employs others to help us. Through His Atonement, Jesus Christ has personally paid the price for our recovery.
Luke 10:29-37

"The lost sheep are not just the people who don't come to church...The lost sheep is a mother who goes down into the valley of the dark shadows to bring forth children. The lost sheep is a young person, far away from home & faced with loneliness & temptation. The lost sheep is a person who has just lost a critically needed job; a business person in financial distress; a new missionary in a foreign culture; a man just called to be bishop; a married couple who are misunderstanding each other; a grandmother whose children are forgetting her. I am the lost sheep. You are the lost sheep." --Bruce C Hafen
Matthew 18:12

"Each of us, in the journey through mortality, will travel his own Jericho Road. What will be your experience? What will be mind? Will I fail to notice him who has fallen among thieves and requires my help? Will you? Will I be one who sees the injured and hears his plea, yet crosses to the other side? Will you? Or will I be one who sees, who hears, who pauses, and who helps? Will you?" --Thomas S. Monson
Luke 10:29-37
