Very Cherry Christmas Candy Mason Jar Gift for Friends

 Make your Christmas gift giving super quick and easy with this Very Cherry Christmas Mason jar gift idea.  Using a few simple craft items and your favorite cherry candy, you'll be done with your Christmas gifts for friends, family, teachers, coworkers, and more quickly!

Today starts a series of 12 mason jar food crafts that will make super easy Christmas gifts for friends, family, coworkers, teachers, service providers or anyone else on your Christmas gift list.

Each gift idea is a simple gift using a few simple craft items and yummy treats.  Choose one and give to all your friends or make a few different ones for easy gifts.

This Very Cherry Christmas printable gift can be filled with any type of yummy cherry candy.  You can use: 

• Cella Cherries
• Cherry Sours
• Cherry Gummy Bears
• Cherry Slices
• Cherry Hard Candy
• Twin Cherries
• Cherry Jolly Ranchers
• or any other Cherry candy

Once you have your cherry candy picked out, grab the following items:

• Craft Mason Jar from Dollar Tree
• 6x6 inch square fabric
• ribbon
• sticker paper
• Very Cherry Christmas free printable square tags

Head down to the bottom of the page and save the Very Cherry Christmas gift tag printable there.  Print out the tags on to sticker paper.

Cut out around the red border or each of the tags and stick to the front of your mason jar.

Add your favorite cherry candy to the jar.  (I got about 15 Cella cherries to fit nicely inside mine.)

Place the lid on the cherries but not the screw cap.

Cut your fabric into 6x6 inch squares.  I found this cherry fabric in the precut fabric pieces in the Walmart craft aisle.

Place the square on top of the Mason jar lid and then screw the cap on to hold in place.

Using matching color craft ribbon, wrap ribbon around the cap and tie a bow.  You can glue the center of the bow in place to keep it secure if needed.

Give your gift to everyone on your Christmas list and watch them enjoy the yummy treat.
