Halloween night is coming! And it's time to start preparing for a little Hocus Pocus fun.

With the Sanderson Sisters returning to Salem this year, it's time to break out our cauldrons, our brooms, and our spellbooks.

If you don't have your spell book yet, you can run over to the Party Store and grab one for your Halloween party, or you can swing by Dollar Tree and make your own.

Create your own spellbook for your Halloween party using this easy and fun Spellbook DIY project. Using simple Dollar Tree items and our spell book printable, you'll have your own Halloween decor for your Hocus Pocus movie party.

To make this easy Hocus Pocus spellbook DIY you will need:

Start by painting the edges of your book brown.  You don't need to paint the front or back since they will be covered with the spell book printable, but you'll want the outside edges, the back (where the hinges are), and the inside edges.

Once that is dry, mix the brown and white paints to create a beige color.  Paint the rest of the edges of the box to look like spell book pages.

Print out the Hocus Pocus spell book printable from our party shop here on to card stock.  Cut around the outside edges.

Paint a layer of mod podge on the front cover of the box.  Lay the spell book front (the side with the eye) on to the mod podge and press down.  Paint another layer of mod podge on the top of the spell book front cover to protect.

Once the front is dry, repeat with the back cover.  Allow to fully dry.

Now you can use your spell book on your Halloween tiered tray or as a decoration at your Hocus Pocus party or your Halloween party.

It's super simple to create this spell book diy with our fun, cheap, easy Spell book printable in our Party store.
