One of my favorite things about the summer is getting together with family.

Like you, my family lives all over the country.  We only seem to get together once a year for some big event.

Fortunately, with a big family, there is always some "Big" event going on.  Whether it be a graduation, a baby being born, or the 20/50/70 celebration we had this year.

This year, my mom turned 70 years old, my parents' had their 50th wedding anniversary, and our family business survived 20 years at the local mall.

So we celebrated with a big family week.

During that week, we held 3 big parties.  One of which was a family game night.

Since the family is scattered all over the country, I thought it would be super fun to make our game night a little more personalized by making a personalized Guess Who family game.

It was so easy to do that I highly recommend making one for your family too!

I started by buying the Guess Who game from Amazon.

Then I gathered together

I started by gathering pictures of each of the cousins.

You will need 24 different people for your game to work, which I was lucky that this was exactly how many kids we have.  (Okay, we only have 23, but my daughter is engaged so we added her fiancé for #24.)

For the game pieces inside the game, crop each photo into a 1 inch square.  You will want to make sure that each face can be clearly seen, including hair and maybe a little bit of their outfit.  You need to make sure that there are things that can be seen in the picture so little ones can ask questions.

Add the person's name below the picture and cut into 1 inch wide by 1 1/4 inch long rectangles.

Run the pictures through your Xyron using the sticker cartridge.

Carefully place each of the pictures on the game piece cards which are red and blue.  You want to cover the faces of the characters that are already there.

You'll have to do this twice, one for the red side and one for the blue side.  Then place the cards in each of the game sides.

Now you need to make the draw cards.

To do that your pictures need to be 1 1/2 wide by 2 1/2 long.

Repeat the process of turning the pictures into stickers with your cartridge.  Then I recommend using the laminate cartridge to laminate the draw cards.

Ours were handled by a lot of little hands and got a "workout" even though they were laminated.

To play Guess Who, each player draws one card from the Draw Cards.  This is the player they "are".

By asking "yes" and "no" questions, each player guesses who the other player is.

This game is a fun game for little ones, especially when they get to be their brother or older cousin.

It went so well, that all the parents are asking for these games for Christmas.  Such a great and easy Christmas gift for everyone in the family!
