It's time for another never ending battle...what's for dinner?

Now that school is back in session and we have soccer EVERY night of the week, dinner has become a lot more challenging.  I normally turn to a lot of crock pot dinners this time of the year, but I admit, we went shopping after a soccer game on Saturday and just went with what "sounds good" at the time.

Not something I recommend.  Especially without any planning or looking to keep your food budget down.  I did purchase a few extra items to duplicate meals for future freezer dinner meals and for our food storage, so I do feel good about that.

Here's our menu plan for the next two weeks.

Taco Salad
Steak (found some on sale at City Market)
Chicken Alfredo
Foil Dinners
Hamburgers
Fritos Casserole
Jack Daniels Chicken

Cannelloni Pasta Recipe by KandyKreations

Foil Dinners
Chicken Salad
Turkey
Macaroni and Cheese with Taquitos
Meatloaf
Pot Roast

And I thought it would be fun to share some recipe cards with our Menu Plan this week.  Since I've been playing with Legos this week, here is a fun Lego chef recipe card in a 1/2 page size and a 4x6 inch size.  Go ahead and save them to your computer and then use your print program to print them out to the proper size.

I've also included a full page of lines so you can print them on to the back of the page for more lines.

What are you having for dinner tonight?  How do you decide each week?
