Cinderella's Coach Cake Pops

Cake pops are another of our Party treat staples.  At our house, we love to have them any time, all the time.  Unfortunately, I'm just not very good with the decorating skills when it comes to cake pops.

I tried to make some Cinderella's coach cake pops for our Princess baby shower.

They just don't look right.  I actually had to give my daughter several hints before she could figure out what they were supposed to be.

Can't you see it?  I attached mini oreo fronts to the outside of the dipped cake ball.

Then I tried to draw a door on the outside of the carriage.  Not sure if this is where I went wrong in my piping skills or not.

I think the idea was there, but maybe not my execution.  So instead, I had to make some doilies for my cake pops.

This way, no matter how bad my cake pops turn out, they will always be in style and part of the party theme.  Am I the only one that has this problem?

If not, I've created these Cake Pop Doilies in several different styles, with more to come...because I think they are COOL!  Well, at least they allow me to make (and therefore eat) more cake pops and say they are part of the "party"....and that's the whole point right?

  2. I love the effort you put into the carriage idea. I think they're cute! I'm still experimenting with cake pops. I've made super easy watermelon ones you can see at my blog purplestpecalin.blogspot.com

Found you via TT&J and am the post two before yours!
