If so, check out this easy Easter Ombre milkshake! The fun pastel colors in this ombre milkshake bring a hint of the Easter egg to your celebration.
Start by mixing a regular milkshake in your blender. I like to use 2 cups of vanilla ice cream, 1 cup of milk, and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract. If you're using this recipe for the milkshake, you will probably need to triple this amount to get enough for a pretty milkshake.
Neon Food Color that has some great colors for Easter in it--purple, pink, green, and blue.
Pour your first layer into glass. You need to harden this first layer by putting it into the freezer for about 20 minutes. If you don't, you're next layer will just mix into the drink and not give you the ombre effect.
Place your milkshake in the freezer again for another 20 minutes.
If you want to have the coloring go from dark to light, you can mix the milkshake up in smaller batches. Use the original recipe above and add the food coloring so that it's darkest at the beginning. Now you can either make a new batch of milkshake with lighter coloring, or add more ice cream and milk to lighten up the color.
