I don't get January sometimes. Just when you start to get back into the swing of things from the Christmas and New Year holiday....just when your life is starting to get back on track...January throws you another vacation week.
I know it's nice to have a day to sleep in and to enjoy time as a family, but it's so hard to keep the kids on track and to a schedule that's always "taking a day off."
Am I the only one that feels this way?
I say keep the holiday and save it until the doldrums of winter hit and I really need a break.
Oh well. Since we have another holiday here, I thought we'd celebrate with cupcakes! Cupcakes for everyone...all from our friends at last week's Dare to Share Saturday.
At least I managed to get back onto some type of schedule last week. I've got some changes coming up in my life next month with another move, so I really need to get on to some type of schedule so I don't lose my sanity while trying to pack and move.

And my friend and co-host Pam was pretty busy this week. She shared this fun Sock Snowman craft. I've never tried these myself, but think I may give them a go for my party this weekend. Wouldn't they be super cute sitting beside my hot chocolate bar?
