Gobble up those Pac Man Ghost with these yummy Chocolate Covered Pretzels. These are quick and easy treats for your Video Game or Arcade party using chocolate melts, mini pretzels, and mini M&Ms.
Now that we've come up with some games to play at our Video Game party, it was time to start coming up with some party treats. While trying to keep my party theme together, I knew I needed to find some yummy treats based on Arcade games.
There aren't many easier and yummier party treats than chocolate covered pretzels.
Since those pretzels naturally look like ghosts when turned up side down, it was a natural step to bring the Pac Man ghosts to our party dessert table. And they are super easy to make.
Start with colored candy melts, mini pretzels, mini M&Ms, and a squeeze bottle.
Place your colored candy melts into the squeeze bottle and melt in your microwave for 1 1/2 minutes on 50 percent power. Repeat until the chocolate is smooth and melted.
Squeeze your colored chocolate into the holes of the mini pretzel. (If you hold down the pretzel there won't be much excess coming out the bottom of the pretzel, but if you do have some, don't worry, you'll take care of it later.)
While the chocolate is still wet, add two mini M&Ms to the top of the ghost for eyes.
Let the chocolate harden. Once harden, use a knife to trim off any extra chocolate you may have around the back of the Pac Man ghost.
