We start by kicking the red, white, and blue off with Memorial Day in may and then we have the 4th of July, and we round it up with Labor day.

Since summer is also picnic and party season, I'm sharing with you a great new plastic canvas pattern that will help you decorate your picnic and party table in a quick easy way.
These USA flag plastic canvas napkin holders are part of my set of napkin holders that allow you to take a boring Dollar Tree napkin holder and turn it into a party decoration fit for your patriotic party.
- 1 regular sized sheet of plastic canvas in 7 count (this will make one side)
- red, white, and blue yarn
- plastic canvas needle
- scissors
- USA Flag Plastic Canvas Napkin Holder pattern
- (optional) small glass beads
Simply cut and follow the plastic canvas pattern below to make these napkin holders. I had them put together in about an hours tv time, so they really are a quick plastic canvas pattern.
If you are a little more advanced in your sewing and want to get a little flashy, you can add small beads in between the blue goblin stitches in the flag part. They are really easy to add with some sewing thread and a sewing needle.
