Since the Government has been on shutdown these past few weeks, we've been playing it close to home.  He's one of those lucky few who still gets to go to work but isn't getting paid.

I know that we've been blessed far more than so many who are in our situation.  We did have some savings after the wedding still, and I have my printables store to help buy grocieries each day.  But as the end is still not in site, I'm with so many others who are starting to worry and count their pennies.

So I've been staying home a lot so we don't waste money on gas.  And that means lots of reading time, catching up on my tv time, and doing a lot of plastic canvas.

I am a real plastic canvas junkie since the items you can make with this craft can be useful for home and parties.  But of course, it's hard to find patterns for some of my party ideas, so I have to design my own.

I have an idea of what I want to do with this Bee coaster set for my Bee Mine Valentine party, but we'll see if it works out in the end or not.  In the meantime, these coasters are prefect for keeping the furniture safe from all the cups that the kids have around the house while we are home bound.

I'm working on twelve different coasters with a Bee design, so I've set them up into 3 different sets of 4 coasters.
