Do you know how you start working on one project and it leads you to another project and you just get carried away?

I started to clean my house this weekend.  In doing so, I found a bunch of books that didn't fit in my bookshelf.  So I knew I needed to start building spots on top of the bookcase for books.  So of course I needed a bookend.

So I ran to the store and bought some paver stones.  They were cheap enough and nice looking so I thought they would work perfect.  After a little while I got to thinking that the stones weren't pretty enough to hold my beloved books.

So I got to creating bookend covers for the paver stones.  (Okay, it might have been an excuse to stop cleaning, but it was a valid one, right?!)

I created these printable bookend covers to go over the paver stones using Harry Potter.  After all, who doesn't love Harry Potter or a good magical mystery?

After, I got a little carried away and created a Beauty and the Beast themed set too.  What can I say, I ended up loving how they turned out and how they really made the paver stones amazing.

The Harry Potter bookend covers fit a 7x 3 inch paver stone (I bought mine at Lowes in the Garden department.)  One side has a picture of Harry Potter in front of the Platform 9 3/4 sign.  The other side has the front of the Hogwarts Express waiting to take you off to Hogwarts for another school year.

I was thinking these bookends would also be super cute on a dessert table holding up a plate with cupcakes on them.  Wouldn't that be a great party dessert for a book club party?  I think there are so many cute uses for these other than organizing your bookshelf.  In fact, I may need to sit and think about new ideas instead of getting back to cleaning!

Simple right click and save the printables below.  Then print them on to card stock.  Cut them out and score the edges to help it fold right.

Glue the edges together to form the front and back to the bookend.

When you are done, glue the top closed and slide down over the paver stone.
