Let the Sorting Hat decide which Hogwarts House you are from with this printable Hogwarts Sorting Hat pillow box. Simply fill this box with colored candy and let your guests choose which House they are from at your next Harry Potter party.
When we threw Harry Potter's birthday party this weekend, I got asked a lot which house I was from. I think Harry Potter fans like to put themselves into houses and imagine which adventures they would have.
But I have to admit, I think I'm all the houses together.
One moment, I may be Slytheran. The next I may be more Ravenclaw.
It just depends upon the day and the moment.
But for those who like a little more spontaneity and want the Hogwarts Sorting Hat to tell them which Hogwarts house they are going to be in, I created these Sorting Hat pillow boxes as a fun addition to a Harry Potter party.
Of course, once you get your guests sorted, you will need to make sure they have their Survival Kits, so don't miss grabbing those for your Harry Potter party too.
On the front of each of the pillow boxes is a graphic of a Sorting Hat and the words "Hogwarts Sorting Hat." The back of the pillow box has the poem the Sorting Hat sings in "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone."
The boxes are easy to make. Simply print on to card stock and then use scissors to cut around the edges. Score along the dotted lines, glue, and then fold together.
At your party, randomly add your pillow boxes to a basket and let guests pick their Sorting Hat box to be sorted into different houses.
This would be a great idea to begin the party with so you have "teams" for your party games. Or you can use it as a party favor or as a yummy treat on your dessert table.
Right click and save your Sorting Hat pillow box now or be sure to Pin It for your next Harry Potter party.
