This kid's craft is super fun and easy and makes a striking addition to your dinner table. Try making these fun clay silverware pieces that look like Unicorn Suckers.
Okay, I admit...this project may be a little over the top for anyone just having a fun dinner party and trying to use things from home.But....
It certainly is fun. And a great craft to do with the kids on a cold winter afternoon.
So if you're looking for an extra special kid's craft or to add a little special fun to your dinner table, you need to try these fun air clay silverware pieces that are designed to look like Unicorn suckers.
And they are so easy and cheap that even your kids can make an afternoon activity of it.
Start by grabbing some:
- Silverware sets from Dollar Tree
- Air Dry Clay from Amazon
Yup, it's really that easy.
Start by choosing the colors you want for your "Unicorn Suckers".
Divide one of the packet colors into thirds. Roll into a ball and then
into a line just like you did in Kindergarten when you were making a "snake."
Make the lines about 10 inches long. (You may need to adjust this length
depending upon the width and length of your silverware handles.)
Lay the two colors next to each other.
Start at the top of your handle and roll the colors down the handle of the
silverware.
When you get to the bottom make a swirl like a real
Unicorn Sucker.
You can decide whether you want all your silverware to match or whether each
place setting should have a different color design.
Once you have all the silverware wrapped, let them air dry for a few hours.
The cool thing is this clay dries all puffy, so it will be easy and
comfortable for little hands to hold your "unicorn sucker" silverware.
This is such a fun and easy craft for kids of all ages and will be such a
striking accent to any tablescape, but I can't wait to show you how it's going
to look on my Valentine Love is Sweet candy table so stay close!
And don't miss our free Love is Sweet candy bar wrapper.
Ha, that is cute and looks like super fun! Unicorns are my spirit animal! Thanks for linking with me!
