We've been working hard on all the Disney Princess party favors, party decorations, and party games for my niece's 5th birthday this month, but decided we are taking a night off from party planning to watch some of her favorite Disney movies.

Nothing like really getting into the mood (and finding more birthday ideas for Aunt Kimmy to make) before the birthday party!

But of course...you can't watch a movie without Movie Snacks.  And for that you'll need movie popcorn, movie candy, and something to drink.

Enjoy a fun family movie night or movie at your Princess party with this easy Princess Movie Snack Box printable. Fill with popcorn, treats, and a drink for the perfect addition to your Princess movie night.

So I created some fun movie snacks boxes for each of the kids while we watch.

These snack boxes would also make great party favors to send home with the guests if you want something simple to tie into your movie party.

To make this box, you'll need:

  • 12x12 card stock paper square in red (available at Walmart or your local craft store)
  • 81/2x11 cardstock
  • scissors
  • tape or glue
  • pencil
  • ruler
  • scoring knife or edge
  • snack box template printable

Start by printing out the snack box template at the bottom of the page on to card stock.  Cut around the Princess Snacks rectangle and around the solid lines on the template.

Lay the cut template on your 12x12 paper square with the "inside edge" in the center of the paper.  Outline the template using your pencil.

Turn the template over and line up the inside edges together.  Outline around the edges again.  Cut out snack box.

Score along dotted edges to fold box into correct shape.

Add a little bit of glue or tape to the tabs and use to secure box together.

Add a little bit of glue or tape to the back of the Movie Snacks rectangle previously cut out.  Secure to the front of the snack box in the center.

Add a bag of movie popcorn, movie snacks in your favorite flavor and a juice box.  Give to your movie guests as they enjoy the showing.
