Dragon Loot Cut File

Create a safe space for your Dragon Loot with this cut file perfect for making candy jar party favors for everyone in your clan.

Sunday, January 16 is Dragon Appreciation Day.

Who knew there was such a thing?

If you downloaded our Special Days in January calendar, then you did...if not, go grab it now so you can celebrate all the fun, crazy holidays this month.

Or at least so you can make unique crafts for the dragon lover in your life.

I've owned a Silhouette Cameo for a few years now, but really haven't spent much time playing with it.  I mainly have used it for print and cut party designs.

But this past Christmas, I bought a bunch of glass jars from Dollar Tree to make candy jars to use as Christmas gifts.

I still have a few left over.  So as I was working on a Dragon Appreciation day celebration with my kiddos, I decided to make some Dragon Loot jars as party favor treats.

I am not very skilled with my Silhouette and am still learning to make my own SVG files, so let me know if I'm doing something wrong...but I wanted to share this cut file with you:

I cut the dragon out of reflective foil vinyl and the Dragon Loot out of permanent black vinyl.  Then I layered the Dragon Loot on top of the Dragon.

Finally finished by placing it on the lid of the glass jar.

I will probably fill it with Rock Candy Crystals so it looks like gems inside the candy jar and therefore really dragon loot, but we'll see.

  1. I have never heard of this day to celebrate but it certainly is fun. The jars will be the perfect for the day and you can enjoy them all year. Thanks for linking up and sharing. #HomeMattersParty
