Minion Boxed Planner Printable perfect for Keeping Track of Your Money Making Tasks
There are certain things I do each day to make some extra play money. During the summer it's hard to remember to get it all done with crazy schedules. Add this bullet journal inspired month box planner printable to your organization and you'll be on your way to your next pair of shoes quick!
I love my planner. I use it for just about everything to keep me organized, especially during the summer when we are in a crazy routine. I have shared a bunch of my free planner printables in the past so hopefully you can stay organized too.
My organizational printable today is a simple boxed table from the bullet planner set up. If you haven't heard of a bullet planner, it's a pretty awesome and easy way to start in getting organized. You can see how it's done here.
This planner printable can be used for just about anything. It has 30 boxes horizontally and 10 boxes vertically. It's great if you want to keep track of anything you need to do every day of the month, like take medicine, or exercise. Just about anything.
I want to help myself remember to do my "money making" tasks each day. I keep forgetting due to the craziness of the moving situation we are in right now and I don't want to miss out on my play money at the end of the month.
There are certain things I do each day to make a little extra money for play. They don't take much time and energy, but I often forget to do them in the daily hustle and grind of life. So I'm adding this planner page to my notebook to help myself remember to do things like Swagbucks, Perk TV, Shopkick, Ebates and the Savings Catcher.
Hopefully this will help you to stay organized this summer too. And while you're at it, don't miss all my other fun summer printables as part of the 30 Days of Summer free printable series.

Copycat Mix for Enchilada Sauce Recipe
Save money and eat healthier with this copycat version of McCormick's Enchilada Sauce Mix. Using items you probably already have in your kitchen, you can make a delicious enchilada sauce mix that saves a trip to the store.
Tonight is our Minion party for our family dinner. I've been working hard for the past two weeks to make a fun night for the family. Since it looks like more snow is in our future, it will be perfect timing to have to stay indoors.
I pondered on what to make for dinner to go along with the Minion theme. I didn't think a meal of all bananas would quite work, although our chocolate chip banana bread muffins and some yummy banana splits will make an appearance tonight.
I finally decided to have a Mexican themed dinner with items that could have been served in El Macho's restaurant from Despicable Me 2. After all, homemade enchiladas are my kids most favorite meal of all time. I think they ask me for it at least once a week.
But usually, I'm a little hesitant to make them. I just hate to buy the McCormick Enchilada Sauce packets. They are SOOO expensive. I mean seriously? Why does it cost $1.50 a packet to throw together some basic spices?
Recently, I've really gotten into making my own homemade spices and packets. I love how much cheaper they are to make.
Instead of paying over $3.00 for a pumpkin pie spice tiny jar, I can just make my own. Instead of buying the dried Onion Soup packets, I have learned to make my own. And now, I can save $3.00 every time I make enchiladas (which ends up being at least twice or three times a month) because I am making my own Enchilada sauce mix.
Hooray!
In case you are looking to save money too, here is the easy recipe using items you most likely already have in your kitchen pantry.
Enchilada Sauce Mix Recipe
2 teaspoons chili powder
2 teaspoons paprika
2 teaspoons cornstarch
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
1 1/2 teaspoons dried onion flakes
1 teaspoon sugar
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon oregano
To make the enchilada sauce mix, add all ingredients to an airtight container. Shake or mix well.
To make your own enchilada sauce, combine ingredients with one cup water and 8 ounces tomato sauce in a small saucepan. Cook over medium heat until cornstarch dissolves and sauce starts to bubble.
(Recipe equals one 1.5 ounce packet.)

Printable Hexagon Gift Boxes
Make your own birthday or Christmas gift boxes with this free printable hexagon template that can be made into a 2 1/2 inch gift box. It's so easy and great for giving little treats, sweets, or gifts everyday.
Ugh. I have been trying to get last minute things done for our Despicable Me Minion party for our family dinner tomorrow night. I had this great idea to make the place settings look like the little minion eyes. So I figured all I needed to do was design up a little gift box to complete the look.
Six hours later, I've finally got it complete.
It probably wouldn't have been so bad, but I decided to try and make it into an instructional video instead of a regular blog post. I'm kicking myself over that decision now.
The video itself was super easy. Except for my daughter raging over Vampire Diaries in the background. My son wanting this or that while he was outside playing in the snow. And my other son deciding he was hungry and needed to be fed. Right. Then.
All the while I was trying to record and edit this gift box video. Then my computer decided to chime in and freeze up ten times in the middle of trying to save the video.
Talk about super frustrating. But I finally have it done. I think in the end, the video worked out and I learned a super lot while working on it. So someday, I'll have amazing videos that you guys will absolutely LOVE to watch and learn from.

Chocolate Chip Banana Bread Muffin Recipe
Enjoy these moist chocolate chip banana bread muffins at your dinner tonight. They are quick and easy to whip up with items you probably already have around your kitchen now. This is a yummy recipe that will make you the hero when your family tastes these chocolate chips inside the banana bread muffins.
I was sitting here enjoy a rare spare moment of free time, when the wind pulled a Mary Poppins moment. You know that part in the movie where the wind reverses direction and everything changes?
The wind picked up crazily and the temperature dropped about twenty degrees.
It was almost 70 degrees and sunny and tomorrow it's supposed to be snowy and 20 degrees. Yuck.
So it's a good thing I made a few warm chocolate chip banana read muffins this afternoon. These are just the thing to comfort and warm you up on a cold, cold, cold fall (is that still accurate?) day.
To make these banana bread muffins, you'll need:
1/2 cup margarine
2 eggs
1/4 cup milk
2 cups flour
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 cup sugar
1 cup mashed bananas
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 cup chocolate chips
Start by creaming the milk and margarine together. Add the eggs and beat well. Add the bananas, milk, and lemon juice to the mix. Cream the ingredients together well.
Sift the dry ingredients together. Add to the mix. Mix in the chocolate chips.
Line 18 muffin tins with muffin liners. Fill each liner 2/3 of the way full.
Cook at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.

Evil Minion Can Game Printable
Save the Evil Minions at your Minion party with this can game printable. Print out each minion and knock them down with your own jelly ball to play this can game and have fun at your Minion party.

When planning a Minion party, it's hard not to include a few of the Evil Minions from Despicable Me 2. They are the perfect target for a Knock down the Can game. Your guests can pretend to be Gru and shoot the Evil Minions with your own Jelly Gun or knock them down with a small ball.

Start by printing out the PDF zip file of the Evil Minions. There are 10 minions with 2 to a page. They are designed to fit around Campbell's soup cans, but can be used around vegetable cans too.
Use your handy, dandy awesome Fiskars Paper Trimmer
to trim around the outside of each minion. The trimmer makes it so quick and easy to cut out these printables that I highly recommend one.
Enjoy a few meals of Campbell's tomato or chicken noodle soup this week and save the cans. Clean them out and remove the outer wrappers. Replace the label with the Evil Minion printable using a little bit of hot glue on the back inside of each minion printable.
To play the game, stack the Evil Minion cans into a pyramid tower. We found using the Hog Wild Original Power Popper
was a fun way to shoot at the minions to replicate the movie, but you can use a regular ball or bean bag if you'd rather.
You can also set up the Minion cans as bowling pins. Let your guests knock down the Minions by rolling the ball and seeing how many they can clear away.
Whichever way you play, you can have a lot of fun at your Minion party using these Evil Minion can game printables. Be sure you go get your free prints here now.
Here are the items I used to create the Evil Minion Can Game printables:
Pin the Eye on the Minion Party Game Printable
Pin the eye on the Minion at your Minion party with this printable party game. Print as many eyes as you want for as many players as you have and go to town play this fun Minion party game.
While I'm having fun playing with my own little Minions today (making them clean the house all day), I decided we needed to have a little more all around fun at our Minion party family dinner next week. So I created a fun Pin the Eye on the Minion printable party game that should tie right into our party plans.
It's pretty easy to print each of these printables to the party game out onto card stock and (maybe not so easily) cut them out. Tape them to the wall, blindfold your party guests, and spin until they puke. Okay, maybe not, but you get the idea.
Here are the three printables you need to play this Pin the Eye on the Minion party game.

It's finally November.
In some ways I've been dreading this month for a while now. Drama Queen leaves for college this month. I know she needs to go. I know she's ready to go. I know she's anxious to go. But the thought of sending her out into the world scares me.
It's such a scary place these days. Did I teach her everything she needs? Does she know how to keep herself safe from the stresses and evils of this world? Did I strengthen her enough to handle it all?
I don't know. I can only hope and pray. And maybe send her off with a few minions to help in tough times.
So I've decided we are going to have one last family dinner party before she leaves. Since it will be a Minion themed party, we needed to have some candy bag toppers in attendance.
These Minion Seeds read:
We'll help you take over the world
Or save it, if that's your need
For we're on your side, no matter what
As you enjoy these Minion seeds.
