I have been searching out fun cupcakes for our Super Bowl party, and it's been surprisingly difficult. I can find LOTS of cupcakes that have to do with football, but not many that celebrate the teams themselves. Well, I must clarify that I am looking for a cupcake design that the "average" person can make at home. Nothing fancy with fondant, gum paste, or fancy tools.
Having said that, I want to share my favorites...

This Pittsburgh Steelers cupcake is a chocolate frosted cupcake with a yellow fruit roll-up on top to look like the helmet stripe. The wrapper has a black helmet with a football face and the team logo to each side.
The Green Bay Packers cupcake wrapper has a yellow frosted cupcake with a green fruit roll-up for his helmet. Football helmet wrapper has a football face on a gold background with the Green Bay logo on each side.
The New York Jets football helmet cupcake wrapper has a white background with the Jets logo to each side of a mean looking football face. Cupcake is a white frosted cupcake with a green fruit roll-up.
