Italian Chef Invitation Free Printable

When I start to plan a party, one of the first things that I look for is some coordinating graphics that I can use to make the accents and party favors that I'll need.  Sometimes I already have some in my thousands and thousands and thousands of graphics.  (Yea, I have a lot.)  Sometimes, I have to go and look for more.  (Drat. *grin*)

For my luncheon and recipe exchange party, I had to go searching.  I found this great Italian Chef at Digi Web Studio by Whimsy Primsy.  Isn't he great?

My hubby spent 2 years in Italy when he was 19 and learned to cook some "mean" pasta.  And that's one of the few foods that EVERYONE in my house will eat without complaining.  So we have a lot of Italian recipes and "stuff" from Italy in our house.  So of course, that's where I had to go with this Luncheon.

After all, to have a FRUGAL but AMAZING party (isn't that our main goal?), you need to have some cheap basics and then accent with great ideas.  Start out with what you already have and then ACCESSORIZE!

So I took my fun Italian Chef, and turned him into an invitation.  But he's not just any regular old invitation, I wanted to really impress that there was going to be GOOD food at my party, so I included silverware actually into my invite.

Since I'm going to share this invitation with you, I'm including instructions on how to put him together.

Download the chef invitation HERE
Then import him into your favorite program to add your party details.
When you're ready, print him out onto card stock.

Spend an evening catching up on your Grey's Anatomy or Cupcake Wars (LOVE THAT SHOW!).
Cut out your chef along the outer edges.

Be sure not to cut the two rectangles apart!

Score along the center line up to the chef's apron.

Fold the pocket over and glue along the bottom and side edge, but NOT THE TOP EDGE!
Glue on your information square to the front of the pocket.

Go to Dollar Tree (like I really need to give you a reason too!) and purchase some matching silverware.  I bought 16 sets of black plastic silverware for $1.00.
Place inside your pocket.
Give to your friends and be prepared to see them amazed.

One of the great things about this invitation is that you can also use it as a silverware holder at each place setting at the party.  Just leave off the party information and put on some cute coordinating scrapbook paper instead.

Dual use out of one cute printable!
