Super Hero Coaster Plastic Canvas Pattern

Dear Hubby has been away this week at training for work.  As much as I wish I could have gone with him and spent the entire week lounging around in the hotel, I'm  trying to get as much done on our Super Hero father's day party before he gets home.

One of the things I'm working on is a plastic canvas table runner with all the super hero logos in it.  My patterns are about seven inch squares, but after making a few, I was thinking about how these could be used for trivets or other fun kitchen projects.  The more I thought about it, the more I wish I had designed a few to be used as Coasters.

So I did.  And I'm sharing these Super Hero Coasters patterns with you.

They are pretty simple to make if you know how to do a basic plastic canvas stitch.  The stitch is a half x with the needle coming up through the top or bottom half of the x and going down at a diagonal.  This stitch repeats itself across the pattern in the various colors.

These super hero coaster squares are designed to be 4 inches by 4 inches or 28 holes by 28 holes in seven count plastic canvas.  I've made four of them for you with a Bat hero, spider hero, captain hero, and super hero themes.

You can find the free Super Hero coaster patterns here.

Soon enough, you'll see my  super hero table runner...so don't go far!
