I really, really love hot chocolate.  Can I just put that out there?

There's something about the warm, chocolate drink that makes my taste buds happy, my body warm, and my chocolate cravings satisfied.  I think I could drink a cup of hot chocolate almost anytime of the day, but if you're going to an Olaf the Snowman sledding party, a warm cup is a necessity after running around in the snow all day!

I know there are many people who love different flavors in their chocolate, and while I'm regularly a plain milk chocolate kind of girl, I admit, a little extra spice and flavor in my hot chocolate is a nice break at times.

So while working on my Olaf the Snowman sledding party, I created some flavored hot chocolate stirring sticks to let the kids add some yummy, non-traditional flavors to their hot chocolates.

These snowflake, flavored stirring sticks are inspired by all the wonderful flavors I found this weekend while wandering around my local craft store. Wilton makes candy melts in so many yummy flavors now that I can't wait to try them all.

Add some yummy flavor to your hot chocolate this winter to add a little bit of wow to your winter

Once you've decided on your flavor.  Pour it into a glass, microwavable bowl.  Melt the chocolate at 50 percent power in one minute increments.  Stir the chocolate to keep it from burning.

Use fun pretzel stick molds to make hot chocolate stirring sticks perfect for your next party theme

Once your chocolate is melted, use a spoon to ladle it into your chocolate mold. You want to fill it only about half way full so the chocolate doesn't start running down the pretzel stick area.

I really like the pretzel molds for these stirring sticks since they are longer molds with just the right amount of chocolate.  I found my Snowflake Pretzel Mold Set at JoAnns last year on clearance, but there are lots of fun Pretzel Molds out there for just about every occasion.  Just find one that you really like.

Place your chocolate mold into the refrigerator for about twenty minutes.  When the plastic on the front of the mold starts to look "foggy", your chocolate is ready and can be carefully popped out of the mold.

Make hot chocolate stirring sticks easily, quickly, and deliciously

Using some of your left over chocolate melts, cover the front of a Popsicle stick with chocolate.  I really like these Ice Cream Banded Bow tie Sticks since they have a larger end to hold the snowflake chocolate shape.

Turn your snowflake pieces over and apply the sticks to the back.  Make sure they are high enough on the shape to hold the chocolate and won't fall off due to the weight.
