Send your love in a package this St Patrick's day with a fun rainbow colored care package. Filled with every color of the rainbow and topped with free printable tags, your loved one will know they are the pot of gold at the end of your rainbow!
We are celebrating another holiday and so that means it's time to send the Drama Queen another care package from home. Since we are just recouping from the move, we decided to keep this one a little simple just so she knows we are thinking of her and how special she is to us.
We went with a rainbow color scheme for St Patrick's day and themed the package "You are the pot of Gold at the end of our Rainbow!"
I started by purchasing items from Dollar Tree, Walmart, and our local thrift store.
I bought something in every color of the rainbow.
Red = Popcorn and containers
Orange = Travel Mug
Yellow = Skip-Bo card game
Green = Nail Polish for St Patrick's Day
Blue = Infinity Scarf
Indigo = Socks
Violet = Lotion
Using matching colored tissue paper, I wrapped each item and added a tag telling her how special she is.
Red is because we love you so much.
Orange is for your bright, happy smile.
Yellow is because you are our sunshine.
Green is because we are lucky to have you.
Blue is for the strength you share with us.
Indigo is for your awesome imagination and art.
Violet is for the joy you share with everyone around you!
We finished the package by covering the inside edges with yellow tissue paper. Then we added the words "You are the" "pot of Gold" "at the end" "of our Rainbow!"
Now she has a cute St Patrick's day care package to open and know she is being thought of and loved while she is so far from home!
