Getting organized is one of my top goals.   Okay, one of those goals that I add to my resolutions and "to do" lists every week.  I have yet to have it happen for long.

My desk seems to go in stages.

It's clean.

I start working and everything is everywhere.

Other people clean and put stuff on the desk for me to take care of.

I try and work.

I get frustrated.

I clean.

And the cycle repeats.

I think I heard once that you can't stay organized if the system doesn't work for you and your brain.

So I keep trying to find a new system.

One of the things that I've found works is to make fun Post It note holders to keep my post its from getting lost.  (I'm terrible at having little pieces of paper and notes everywhere.)

They are such a fun way to stay organized and have a little bit of decoration on my desk.  And it's so fun that I can change out the design anytime I want without losing the integrity of the note holder.

To make these note holders, you'll need:

  • Note holder printable (find the one free at the bottom of the page, or use our Lucky Monogram print here)
  • Acrylic frame in 4x6 size from Walmart (They have magnet, vertical, and horizontal designs)
  • Scissors
  • 3x3 Post It Notes
Start by printing out and cutting around the edges your desired Post It note inserts.  I have shared the "Not Lucky--Blessed" design from my free printable this month at the bottom of the page.  But I also have these available in all the alphabet in the Lucky Monogoram design in the party shop here.

Slide your picture into the frame.  With this frame design you can easily change out the Post It Insert without any trouble so you can decorate your office or desk or kitchen for every holiday.

Peel off the backing of your Post It note and stick in the white square on the outside of the frame.

If your post its are a little heavy, you can use some double sided tape to help keep the post its on.  But I haven't had problems with mine yet.  So hopefully you won't.

Stick your magnet frame on your refrigerator for those quick notes or use the standing frame for notes on your desk or beside your bed!

Grab the free "Not Lucky--Blessed" Post it Insert below or check here for the Lucky Monogram sets.
