Keep track of What's for Dinner with this easy and fun Menu Board DIY. With just a few simple dollar store items, you will be organized and on budget without the dreaded "What's for dinner" every night.
When I menu plan, I don't usually pick a certain thing out for each day.
It's just too unsure around my house with soccer practices changing constantly, kids not letting me know about school activities, and Dear Hubby getting called into work at strange hours.
Instead, I plan 2 weeks worth of meals and grocery shop for those recipes on payday.
So when my kids ask the dreaded question "What's for dinner?" I can point them to our Menu Board and let them pick the answer.
This DIY Menu Board is quick and easy to make and is perfect for keeping your dinner plans organized and on budget.
Start by cutting your colored paper to fit the magnetic photo frame.
If you want your menu board greeting to be straight, you can use a ruler and draw lines on an extra slip of paper. Slide that paper into your photo frame so you can use the lines to lay out your alphabet.
Add your saying to the top of the picture frame. You could write "What's for dinner?" like I did, or "Menu Board" or anything you want.
I only wanted to use one sheet of alphabet lettering, so I alternated the upper and lower case letters on my Menu Board so it looked fun and made me not have to purchase another sheet of stickers.
How do you keep track of what's for dinner at your house?
