5 House Decorating Ideas and Dare to Share Blog Linky

The summer is starting to wind down and school is just around the corner.

I'll be honest with you.  I really thought we'd have moved again by now.  Dear Hubby has been putting in for a promotion at work for the past few months, and I was sure it would have come down the pipes by now.  But dang, the Federal government can't do anything in a timely manner.

So here we sit, getting ready for a new school year.  And I'm doing it with bare walls, and a minimalistic approach to my life.  I haven't wanted to decorate the house since we are in a rental and were just planning to leave before too long.

But I just can't go into a "new year" looking at bare walls.  So I've decided I'm going to try and decorate the house a little this weekend.  I'm sure as soon as I do so, we'll get the announcement that we are moving.  But I just need to get some decorating done.

Thanks to everyone who shared great ideas last week to help me find ways to decorate the house!  If you missed them, check out these great features.

I know my co-host and friend Pam has just finished with her move and will need some decorating ideas once she catches her breath again.  I am lucky that when I move, it won't be a "self" move, but we'll be totally taken care of.
I can't believe after Pam's move, she wants anything to do with cooking.  But she did share a yummy looking recipe for Pork Filet Sandwiches.
This week was Mini Me's eleventh birthday, so we spent the week planning for his Superman birthday party.  If you missed out on any of the fun projects, you can see them here.

So what have you been up to this week?  Have you made any fun summer memories?  I can't wait to see!
