You guys know that I rarely ever post about fasion or beauty tips.  I'm just not that good at that kind of thing.  Although that may change a little since Drama Queen is now going to Cosmetology school.  When I went down to visit last month, I was treated to a weekly manicure and some beautiful and fun nail art.

Now that I'm home, I'm going through some major withdrawl.  I loved having my nails done and having pretty nails.  If you're a friend on Instagram, you may have seen some of the fun art I was treat to as well as some of the designs I've tried to do myself since coming home.

You may also have noticed, I'm really not that good at nail art.

With Mini Me's superman themed birthday, I wanted to find a way to have Superman nail art to celebrate with.  (I think doing something fun for yourself is a good way to make everyday a little sweeter!)

I tried to design my own nails, but it's super hard to paint on nails, especially that right hand!  But, I hit on a way that can give me the cute design with very little work!

Easily and Quickly DIY your own nails in fun Superman logo art

I started by painting my nails this pretty blue color using Sally Hansen Jel Nail Polish in the color 'Combustealble' (You can also find it at Walmart.)

Use this printable to DIY your own nails.

I printed out the Superman Logo labels (find the printable at the bottom of the page) on to a single label of the Avery Clear Easy Peel Address Labels.

*Please note that I have a laser printer, I'm not sure how well this would work with an ink jet printer.  Maybe it would be fine, maybe the ink will smear, I don't know.  If you try, please let me know how it turns out.

The labels are small, so I used a sharp x-acto knife to cut out along the edges of the superman logo to get just the sticker part.  You can use the knife to slide between the label and the sticker back to lift it up and CAREFULLY place on the nail

You can move the sticker if you put it on crooked, but try not to, since moving the sticker will shorten the life of your nail art.

Finish off your nails by sealing them (use several coats) with Sally Hansen Gel Top Coat.

Here's the label printable.  Just copy it and import it into your favorite graphics program to print out onto a single address label.
