I admit, when holidays come around, I like to decorate EVERYTHING.

If it's not moving (and sometimes even if it is) I can find a way to decorate.  So for Christmas, I add a little bit of Christmas decoration to all surfaces, and that includes my books and planner.

And since magnet bookmarks are such a huge rage now (and super, duper cute), I knew I had to make some for Christmas.

And they were super easy too!  So much so that I took all my favorite clip art and made sets for Christmas gifts for all the readers I know.

For today's holiday printable, I'm sharing how to make Christmas magnet bookmarks with these ADORABLE gingerbread men and Elf.  (Aren't they super cute?  I'm obsessed with them right now as you can probably tell from the sets in my December Journaling card printables.)

And like I said, they are super easy to make.

How to make magnet bookmarks
To make these magnet bookmarks, you'll need:

Scissors

Start by printing the Magnet Bookmarks on to a piece of card stock.  Cut around the edges of each pattern. I added a little bit of white space to make cutting easier and faster, but do it however you like.  Just make sure the pieces are attached at the center square so they will fold in half and be mirror images.

Cut a little strip of magnet tape and secure it inside the bottom edges of your clip art characters.  Make it so the squares will touch when you fold the bookmark in half.

Fold the characters in half so the magnets meet and the characters are mirror images.  See? Easy peasy.

I'm so excited to use these in my planner and my scrapbook pages to mark fun events and things I need to remember.  Plus, all the books I've been reading lately will get a dose of Christmas cheer to help keep my spot as I find time to read in small amounts this Christmas season.

Here's the free characters for the Christmas magnet bookmarks if you want to make a set for yourself or your favorite reader for Christmas!
