I don't know why, but my kids have not really gotten into the holiday spirit yet.  Maybe it's because my Christmas decorations sit around the living room and haven't found a home yet (am I the only one who hates moving to a new house because now you don't know where to put your favorite decorations?)

Maybe it's that it just doesn't feel like Christmas yet.  I don't know.  But I'm determined to do something about it.

We are going to have a Grinch Christmas family dinner.  Maybe if we get our Grinch out, we'll feel a little more Christmas-y.

By now, you probably have noticed that I love to make plate insert printables for my dinner parties.  These are so easy to add a little bit of decoration and fun to my plates.  And they are so cheap and easy.

Simply purchase a few round glass plates from Walmart (they were $1.50 each at my walmart.)  Print out the printable (found at bottom of page.)  Cut and add a little bit of a glue stick to the front of the plate insert printable.  Then stick it to the bottom of your plate.

If you stick it to the bottom (or underside) it still shows through the glass and yet won't get dirty when you start adding food.  When you're done, just pull off and throw away.  Now you can use these plates for your next party!

Genius!  Right?

I hope your home has a little more Christmas spirit than mine and that you enjoy these plate inserts.  If you do, please feel free to share with a friend (from this page) or pin this to your Pinterest Christmas boards!
