Elf Kisses Bag Topper Printable

Celebrate this Christmas with your Elf on the Shelf.  Have him bring this cute Elf Kisses free printable to your child to help remind them that Santa's watching and they need to be good.

Celebrate this Christmas with your Elf on the Shelf. Have him bring this cute Elf Kisses free printable to your child to help remind them that Santa's watching and they need to be good.

After seeing all the cute Elf on the Shelf ideas around blog land lately, I'm wishing I had a fun elf to play with too!  But I don't have one and I'm not sure he'd have too many fun places to hide around the hotel (or maybe he'd actually have TOO many.)

So instead, I decided write a fun poem and make you a bag topper printable to have your elf give each child one morning.  I hope you don't mind.  I do think it turned out pretty cute.  Plus, they are super easy to make.  So how can you beat that? Especially since I have 4 different versions for you to try.

The poem reads:

Elf Kisses
With little elf eyes watching you,
There's not a lot that Santa misses,
So to help you be good today,
Here's a bunch of sweet Elf kisses.

I made a version for you to use on a Sandwich size bag, two to use on a 3x4 inch zip baggie (one in case you have a border less printable and one in case you don't), and one tag version that can be tied to a bag of candy of any size.

Run over to our Printables store and grab the Elf Kisses printable for your Elf on the Shelf.  When you have them, print out the topper that you need.

Cut out the individual toppers.

If you are using the 3x4 inch bag version (it has 6 to a page), there aren't cut lines on it.  To cut them out, cut down the middle of the page (in between the elf bodies.)

Now cut down the page to the left of the Elf body.  The resulting topper should measure about 3 1/2 inches by 5 inches.

For the other versions, cut along the lines around each of the toppers or tags.

For the bag toppers, fold the card stock just above the Elf Kisses wording.

Now gather the other items you'll need:
A stapler
Bags

(you can see which bags that I like to use by visiting my Resources page at the top of the blog index.)

Fill the bags with Hershey's Kisses Milk Chocolate.

Place the card stock topper over the top of the filled bag and staple it on.
You're all done!

If you're using the tag topper, punch a hole in the top edge of the tag and tie it to a bag of kisses.

See? I told you it was super easy!  And won't your kids be thrilled to get this fun treat when they find their Elf on the Shelf tomorrow?

NEW UPDATE! I made some new candy treats for your Elf on the Shelf to bring to your kids this year.  You can now get your Elf Hugs topper too! Check out the Elf Hugs here.

  10. Hi, I think these are wonderful... I have been looking for a printable with an elf picture on it that looks like the elf on a shelf. It is perfect. I want to give my son this printable but i also wanted to write another note to him. Do you have a printable with just the picture on it?
Thank you so much in advance,
