Create an out of this world Star Wars dinner party with this plastic canvas Darth Vader placemat pattern. If you know the basics of plastic canvas, you'll be able to easily sew this Darth Vader plastic canvas pattern and be the hero of the galaxy.
Maybe I'm a little late for Star Wars' Day, or even for Force Friday, but a true Star Wars fan knows there's never a bad time for a Star Wars dinner party--especially when you think that the next Star Wars movie will be out in only a few months.
In preparation for the movie release, I've been working on a set of plastic canvas place mats for a Star Wars dinner party. I just loved how my Harry Potter Hogwarts houses turned out, that I knew I needed to make another set for Star Wars.
In case you want to work with me, I'm sharing the Darth Vader plastic canvas pattern today. I have absolutely loved learning to make my own plastic canvas patterns and hope that you will enjoy these as much as I do.
The hardest part of this whole pattern was sewing on the Plastic Canvas place mat sheet. I've never worked on one of these before and it was rather interesting trying to figure out how to work around the edges as they are curved. I do like the final look though and it just took a little trial and pushing the needle through some small holes.
If you don't want to use the place mat sheet, you can sew this on an extra large sheet of 7 count plastic canvas too. It will fit either way. Just center your pattern and stitch away.
This pattern is a JPG picture file you can right click and save below. Or if you would rather have it as a PDF file, you can find it for Free in my Printables Shop here.
