I am a HUGE Star Wars fan, so when George Lucas announced the 3 new additions to end the Star Wars franchise, I started blocking the nights out on my calendar and planning my Star Wars movie night dinner parties.

After all, you can't go to the movies and enjoy all the theatrics and popcorn if you have a growling stomach.  It just interrupts the mood.

So when it was time for us to use our Movie Pass and go see The Last Jedi, I planned out a fun Star Wars family dinner with great food, free printables, and lots of cute Star Wars party decorations.

I started laying out our dinner table with a white table cloth on half the table and a black table cloth on the other side of the table.  This is supposed to represent the dark and light side of the force.  Then, I added a red table runner down the center of the table to give the table a little bit of color and pop.

At each place setting, I added either a Darth Vader or a Storm Trooper place mat.  Since I didn't want to cover the place mats, I added a clear plate from Walmart and pretty silverware.  I found these Darth Vader and Storm Trooper chocolate pieces on Clearance at Walmart and thought they made a fun touch for our dinner and would be a yummy dessert on the way to see the movie.

I decided we needed a little bit of the Light side to our dark side place settings, so I found these printable water bottle labels of R2D2 and BB8.  I wrapped them around our goblets to bring them to the place setting.

In the center of the table, I placed a black plate on a candle stick as a cake plate to hold our dinner food.  On both ends of the table, I used a clear plate on a candle stick to represent the light and dark side in our dinner party food.

I was really struggling with what to use for the food.  I wanted something filling, yummy, easy, and on theme for our Star Wars dinner.  (You know how much I love to use themed food in my parties!)

I couldn't figure it out, until I heard about Walmart having the new Eggo Star Wars pancakes.  My kids LOVE having breakfast for dinner,  and I love how easy it is to fix.  Plus, I love that it has an Ibotta rebate on it to save me extra money so there is more money for popcorn!

Once I had the main course set, I added a few other breakfast treats to our table with some Banana bread muffins, pumpkin bread muffins, and yummy sausage and bacon.  I knew we were going to be full and ready for the movie after enjoying this meal.

Now that I had my food set, I finished the party decorations by adding my Star Wars Funko Pops to the center of the table.  I love this Jabba the Hut funko set I found at Walmart a few years ago.  He came with Leah and the little creature and is so cool.

I also have a Star Wars funko Salt and Pepper shaker set.  Instead of adding salt and pepper in them, I added Powdered Sugar and Cinnamon in the shakers to go with our Eggo Star Wars pancakes.

This last Star Wars party decoration is probably my favorite.  I needed some light sabers for our Star Wars dinner, so I made some Light saber printables to go around candlesticks.

These are just regular glass candlestick holders with candlesticks from Walmart in different colors to mimic the Light saber colors.  Then I created some different light saber printables to go around them and cover the holders.

I love how they turned out and am so excited to share them with you.  You can find the free printable below for all 6 of the light sabers.  And the video on how I made them is right above.
