Our twelve days of Christmas gift idea is coming to a close with this last gift. We've had all the members of the Christmas nativity visit from the Three wise men to the Shepherds to the Christmas Angels. Mary and Joseph have arrived and now the last and true gift of the Christmas season, baby Jesus.
Of all the gifts we give this Christmas, remembering the first gift given is probably the greatest and most important. We should remember that this simple gift given in extreme love and sacrifice was a gift of a father who loves all His children, us. He gave us His only begotten son to help us return to Him when this life is over.
The gift of the Christ child at Christmas reads:
I bring you gifts of love and peace
As I was born this Christmas day
May you remember each gift through the year
And love as I show the way.
