Easter Egg Chandelier DIY

Take your Easter Egg hunt inside with this fun Easter decoration. It's so easy to decorate your dinning room chandelier with beautiful Easter eggs and greenery to make a stunning Easter Egg Chandelier that will bring some extra sparkle and shine to your Easter dinner.

I absolutely LOVE to decorate for holidays.  It's one of my favorite things.  Since we are renters, it's a great way to change out the scenery of my home without going too crazy.

But I found out this past Christmas when I put up all the fun Candyland decorations that our Homeowners Association doesn't allow ANY holiday decorations.

Say, what?!?

Who doesn't allow holiday decorations?

It's the craziest thing I've ever heard.

So I'm trying to take all my holiday decorations indoors.  Which is sad because things like my Easter Egg lights are my favorite.

So this year, I'm focusing on indoor decorations.  And since my house is REALLY, REALLY small, there isn't a lot of ways to decorate.

But when I was trying to brainstorm ways to decorate without everything feeling and looking like clutter, I focused on the chandelier above my dinning room table.

Since I'm going with a Easter Egg Hunt decorating theme this year, I decided to try and turn my chandelier into a Easter Egg hunt decoration.

I ran to Hobby Lobby and purchased 2 strands of Greenery Garland.  (They are on sale 50% off this week!)

I draped the garland around the light fixture so that it hung down and between the lights.

While I was out I grabbed some pretty Easter Eggs in various sizes and colors from Walmart.  I grabbed some thread and a needle, and strung the thread through the top holes in the Easter eggs.

Then I used the string to tie the Easter Eggs into the greenery and around the light chandelier so the eggs look like they are hiding in the greenery and hanging from the lights.

I love how the eggs are hanging at different heights and with different colors and designs.  I don't think the picture does it justice at all.  It looks so cool and will look so perfect with my Easter Egg Hunt dinner this year.

 I love how quick and easy this Easter decoration was to make.  And with buying the decorations on sale it didn't cost me much at all.

And since it's in my living room, the HOA can't say anything about how pretty my Easter decorations are! (stinking tongue out at those 'old' fogies.)
