DIY Lightening McQueen Cars Candy Party Favor Printable Candy Bar Wrappers

Say Thank You to your guests at your Car birthday party or Cars movie night with this printable thank you candy bar wrapper set featuring Lightening McQueen and his famous catchphrase "Ka-Chow". This candy party favor is a sweet treat that everyone will love and will make you the #1 party hostess.

This weekend is our Cars family dinner and movie night.  So I'm trying to finish up the treats for the dinner part of our movie night.

I created the Piston cup trophy here and have been debating on whether to actually put cupcakes in it or little treats for the grandbabies.

My Drama Queen (the grandbabies' mama) seems to think I already spoil them way too much.  Is that really possible?  So I've been trying to decide whether one cupcake is okay, or should I go with a few little treats?  Or is both too much?  (wink wink)

I took my Cars alphabet mini wrappers and created a special printable that reads "Ka-chow" with candy bars and on the back "Thank You for Racing By!"

This candy party favor would make a super cute treat at a Cars birthday party or for a Cars movie night dessert.  You could even use it for Valentine's day if you wanted to write your child's name on the back!

You can find the special printable here.

And they are super easy to make too.

To make these Lightening McQueen Thank You party favors, you'll need:

Start by downloading and printing out the printable file.

Print the candy bar wrappers on the semi gloss US Letter sized paper and the "Thank You" file on to US Letter sized cardstock.

Cut around the wrappers and bar card.

Start by laying each letter wrapper label on the top part of the Hershey mini bar.  Line up the letter with the front flat portion.

Take one side and wrap it around the back of the bar.  Repeat with the other side to completely enclose the bar.  Use a bit of glue on the wrapper to secure closed.

Repeat for all 7 candy bars.  (I used the Lightening bolt in between Ka  and Chow, but you can put it where ever you like.)

Place the Cardstock bar card inside the pretzel bag so that the writing faces down.

Carefully place each letter inside the pretzel bag to spell Ka-Chow.  I like to start with the first letter so it's easier not to get lost in the spelling while placing the candy bars inside the bag.

Tie off the bag with a curling ribbon bow.

Place inside your Piston Cup trophy or at the place setting at your family dinner and enjoy the movie!
