DIY Snail Belated Birthday Candy Bar Wrapper Card Printable

DIY your own belated birthday cards and birthday gift with this printable candy bar wrapper.  Wrapper makes a great gift and card in one by giving the recipient a sweet sentiment and a yummy candy bar so you don't get in trouble for forgetting their birthday!

It's been a while since I showed you how to DIY our candy bar wrappers and I've got some fun new ones coming down the pipeline soon.  

I love these candy bar wrappers because they can be used as both a birthday card and a birthday gift in one.  

After all, who doesn't love chocolate and a sweet sentiment?

And when you are late wishing someone you love a happy birthday, it's even better to smooth things over with a chocolate bar!  They can't be mad then, right?!?

And since snail art is on the rise in popularity this year, I had to create a super cute belated birthday card candy bar wrapper to help you when you need a belated birthday card and present.

To start these Snail Belated birthday candy bar cards, you'll need:

• Printable Snail Birthday Candy Bar Wrapper Download
• Hershey 1.5 ounce (regular size) chocolate bar
• Silver candy bar wrapper foils (optional)
• Scissors or paper cuter
• Glue
• Semi Gloss Photo Paper
• Color Printer

Start by printing out your candy bar wrappers. 

The wrappers come in both JPG and PDF format and come with one on a page, or two to a page.

I like to print mine on to Semi Gloss photo paper for a pretty shine and an easy fold around the bar.  It's thick enough to be pretty, but not too hard to fold.

Cut around the outside of the candy bar wrapper.

If you are using the candy bar foils, lay the Hershey bar in the center of the wrapper with the silver side down.  

Fold the foil up around the bottom of the wrapper, and then down around the top to enclose the candy bar.

Fold the edges into the candy bar in a triangle fold on one side, and then the other.  

If you aren't using the foil, just skip to the next step.

Lay the candy bar wrapper on top of the foil wrapper Hershey bar lining up the center front of the wrapper with the candy bar.

Fold the top blank part around the wrapper and then the bottom part with the back greeting over the top to complete the wrapper.

Make sure the edges are lined up and the front and back of the wrapper are where they should be.

Glue the inside of the back wrapper to secure closed.

If you've used the wrapper foils, Push the candy bar wrapper down a little to expose the top half of the foil.  

Fold the triangle foil down and push the wrapper up to catch the foil to keep it down. 

Repeat on the other side.
