First Day of School Candy Treat Printable

The first day of school is a special one.
The possibilities, friends, and fun are endless as the year opens up before the kids.

To make it a little more sweet, I like to add a special note in my kid's lunches...usually with a special treat.  This year, I decided to combine the note and candy.

To make these, you'll need to decide what size you want your candy note..a little treat or a dessert snack?  Whichever size you decide, find the bag that matches.  I used a sandwich bag and a 3x5 inch bag (available at Walmart craft aisle or in most craft stores.)

Now download, print and cut out whichever size topper you desire.

Fill your bag with Starburst candy.

Fold the topper in half so it fits over the top of the candy bag and staple on.

Now you have a sweet treat for your kids to let them know you're thinking of them during school!

Now try not to eat the rest of the bag of Starburst!

  3. How do you get it to print? Mine only lets me print as is on the website, not into it's own file/document. Thanks!
