Decorate the table with yummy treats using these easy Pac Man ghost serving cups at your next video game party, 80s birthday party, or dinner party event. In just moments, you'll have a fun addition to your table that will make all your guests smile.
I wanted to share one last DIY project today that we made for our 80s Arcade Video Game dinner party. We had so much fun at the party and I can't wait to show you the whole thing (check it out tomorrow.) It was the little decorations that made the most impact to the kids, including these fun and easy Pac Man ghost serving cups.
To make these, you'll need a piece of tissue paper (any color you want), a large bowl with a 12 inch rim, a sharpie marker, double sided tape, a 1 inch hole punch, good scissors, some scrap pieces of white card stock, and a fun serving dish (I found mine at Dollar Tree in the glass section.)
Start by using your large bowl and sharpie marker to trace a circle onto the tissue paper. (I got two circles out of each sheet.) You'll want to use good scissors to cut out the circles so they don't tear.
Add a little piece of double sided tape at intervals around the edge of the serving bowl. (Don't worry, when I pulled off the tissue paper, the tape came too without any problems and made it easy to eat the salad inside.)
Lay the center of the tissue paper over the top of the serving bowl. Push it down the sides to secure it against the tape.
Find some scrap card stock and use it to punch one inch circles. use your sharpie to draw eyeballs on to the circles.
Use the double sided tape to tape the eyes on to the side of the tissue covered serving dish.
These PacMan ghosts are a fun way to add a little bit of easy decoration to your dinner table. You can add the ghost decoration to an empty serving dish and let guests unwrap the ghost and fill the dishes after the dinner has started, or you can fill the dishes with treats and then wrap them for the table.
Either way, this cute dinner party decoration will bring smiles to your party guests' faces!
