Create a quick and easy party favor for your Christmas party with this printable candy bar wrapper. You'll wow your class mates, your friends, your family, or even neighbors stopping by with the unexpected cookie plate with a fun treat to give that wishes them a Merry Christmas.
Thanksgiving is only a week or so away and I've decided to start thinking about Christmas already. I am usually one of those people who is wrapping up presents and doing her final shopping on Christmas Eve. This year, there will be none of that. The kids are going to be off the week before Christmas and so we are going to enjoy it by baking and having fun this year.
At least that's my hope.
So I've decided to create some party favors for our Christmas party this year so I'm ready and able to enjoy the time with my friends and family as opposed to running around with my head chopped off.
As my brain goes, I'll probably still be crafting that final week, but this time it will be for fun and not for all the craziness that comes with Stocking Stuffers and Christmas parties.
So here's a quick and easy party favor idea for you to make if you want to try and join me. These candy bar wrappers go around the mini Hershey candy bars and wrap right up to wish everyone on your Christmas list or at your Christmas party a Merry Christmas.
To make these easy Candy Bar party favors, you'll need:
- Scissors
- Glue gun and glue
- Curling Ribbon in your Choice of Color
- Hershey Candy Bar minis
Start by printing out the candy bar printable at the bottom of the page. As explained in my resources page above, I love to use Kodak Glossy Photo Paper for all my candy bar wrappers. It makes the wrappers crisp and beautiful.
Use your scissors or a Fiskars 12 inch Paper Trimmer to cut out the individual candy bar wrappers around the outside of each colored background. You have 15 candy bar mini wrappers on each page, so you can make 3 of each party favors for every page you print out.
Once you have your candy bar wrappers cut out, lay the center of the wrapper on the middle of the mini candy bar front. Wrap the background around the top half of the mini bar and then the bottom half to come up and over the top. You can see this video here on how I wrap all my candy bars.
Use your glue gun to secure the wrapper shut around the mini Candy Bar.
Not all pretzel bags are the same. Some are smaller than others and some are easier to work with when filling with mini candy bars. My favorite bags are the Wilton Pretzel Bags since they are the easiest to fill for me. I don't have to fight them to put the mini bars inside.
Once your candy bars are inside correctly, Tie the top of the bag off with a bow using your choice of curling ribbon and trim off the excess pretzel bag. I used white curling ribbon which doesn't show up so great in the picture but goes quite nicely with the writing and the sugar cookie background on the candy bar wrappers.
Now you have the perfect little treat to give away at your Christmas party, or if your neighbors stop by with that unexpected holiday cookie plate. You can say thank you with a Mini Candy bar party favor.

Are you ready for Christmas yet? Or will you be shopping and wrapping until the very end?
