Do you ever have an idea that just sounds like its going to be awesome but you don't know for sure?

So you go ahead and try it.  You get everything together.  You go through all the work to make it.  You're family looks at you a little weird.

Then you finish and it's better than you expected?

That was these cookies.

I thought they might be good...I mean after all, how awesome are chocolate covered graham crackers?  And how yummy are graham cracker sandwiches with frosting filling?  But put them together....AHMAZING!

And even better, they are perfect for my Arcade video game party.  Add a little design and some gummy frogs and you have a perfect treat for the video game Frogger.

Plus, they are my favorite thing....easy to make.

 To make these, you'll need:

Honey Maid Graham Crackers
Favorite Frosting
Milk Chocolate Melts

Start by melting your Chocolate Melts.

I have found the best way to do this is to pour the chocolate into a glass bowl.  Melt it in your microwave at 50 percent power for 2 minutes.  Stir the chocolate.  Return it to the microwave and repeat until the chocolate is smooth and melted.

Be careful, the bowl will probably be hot...and the chocolate yummy looking!

Break your graham cracker cookie pieces into rectangles.

I found the best way to do this cleanly is to turn them over (so the holes are down) and place a little pressure on the seam with a knife.  Doing that, my graham crackers split into perfect rectangles.

Using your favorite frosting flavor, make little sandwiches out of your graham crackers and the icing.

Drop your graham cracker sandwich into the melted milk chocolate and cover it completely with the chocolate.  Using a fork or a Chocolate Dipping Tool lift the cookie out of the chocolate and carefully tap the fork on the edge of the bowl.  This allows all the excess chocolate to drip off the cookie.

Place your chocolate covered cookies onto a piece of aluminium foil or wax paper to dry and harden.

This part may need to take a little practice in timing.  You'll need the chocolate to be firm enough to hold the design but not to firm that it carves into the cookie.

While your cookie is just a little bit wet still, take a fork and carve a log design into the top of the cookie.

Add a few Haribo Mini Gummy Frogs to the top of the cookie and let them harden into place.

Now enjoy the richest, yummiest cookie you've had in a while...if ever.
