Beauty and the Beast Chocolate Covered Oreos
Beauty and the Beast chocolate covered Oreo cookies. What a fun idea for a Beauty and the Beast birthday party or for a treat after watching the new movie! I think the girls would LOVE these yummy chocolate cookies to celebrate with.
I shared some Beauty and the Beast mini candy bar wrappers as this month's email freebie. I purchased the new Funko Pop Belle and Beast figurines to keep Chip the Teacup company. (He is still one of my favorite DIY projects ever.) And today, I created some chocolate covered Oreos that I think Belle would swoon over.
And like most of the crafts I like to share, these chocolate covered Oreos are super easy and yummy! I think they would make such a sweet dessert for a Beauty and the Beast party or as a post movie treat. (Because after having movie popcorn, I'm always craving chocolate. Am I the only one?)
- Double Stuffed Oreos
- Yellow Chocolate Melts
- Red Chocolate Melts
- Spinningleaf Chocolate Oreo Mold
- Bite Sized Rose chocolate mold
- Mini Squeeze Bottle
Start by melting your Yellow Chocolate Melts in a microwave or double boiler. Once they are nice and smooth, add a little bit to the bottom of your Spinningleaf Chocolate Oreo Mold. I love this mold because my Oreos come out so smooth and pretty every time. So much less stress and work than hand dipping them.
Add your Oreo on top of the chocolate and then add a little more chocolate on top of the cookie. Tap the mold on the counter carefully to even out the chocolate and release any air bubbles. Once your cookies are ready, add them to the refrigerator for 20 minutes to a half hour to set.
While they cookies are setting, melt your Red Chocolate Melts and fill your Bite Sized Rose chocolate mold with red chocolate. Once again tap out on the counter to release any air bubbles and get your chocolate smooth. Refrigerate the roses while your Oreos are setting.
While the chocolate is still melted, add a little bit of your Yellow Chocolate Melts to a Mini Squeeze Bottle. Make sure your chocolate is nice and smooth. If you need it a little thinner to flow, add a small bit of vegetable oil or shortening to your chocolate and mix until smooth and thin enough to flow nicely.
When your Oreos and roses are set, use your yellow chocolate squeeze bottle to pipe a flower shape to resemble the bottom of Belle's dress on the outside edge of the chocolate covered Oreo. Allow the dress piping to harden for a few seconds as you do the other Oreos.
Add a large drop of yellow chocolate to the center of the Oreo and place one of the roses on top to secure it to the chocolate covered cookie. Allow to harden as you repeat the process on the other cookies.

Chocolate Dream Trifle Dessert
This is my favorite cake of all time! It's a dream to create AND eat because it's so easy and delicious. With a few simple ingredients and a short amount of time, you could be enjoying this Chocolate Dream Trifle dessert this afternoon and celebrating the end of the day.
In our house, birthday season starts at the end of July and goes until February. It seems there's always a reason to celebrate and have cake. By the end of the season, we can get a little tired of traditional cakes. So when my birthday comes around at the start of the year, I always ask for this Chocolate Dream Trifle as my cake of choice.
It's full of chocolate, chocolate, and even more deliciousness. It's the perfect treat when you are looking for a little bit of creamy yumminess to start the weekend with. And in true Kandy Kreations' style, its super easy to make.
After all, I'm not much into waiting, especially when it comes to desserts and treats. I want to enjoy each moment of life with as much sweetness as possible. Because who has time to wait?
To make this dream dessert, you'll need:
- One box Chocolate Fudge Cake Mix (plus needed ingredients)
- 1 large container of Whipped Topping
- 2 family size boxes of Chocolate Instant pudding (plus needed milk)
- 1 container Cookies n' Cream Hershey Mixers (available in the ice cream topping aisle)
Use the cake box directions to make 2 round cake mixes. The size depends upon the bowl that you want to create your trifle in. I used this Trifle Bowl and so needed two 8 inch cake rounds.
Bake according to directions and let cool.
While your cake is cooling, make up both boxes of chocolate instant pudding and refrigerate.
Add the package of Cookies and Cream Hershey Mixers dessert topping on top of your Chocolate Dream Trifle Dessert. This gives the cake a little bit of crunch and texture so it's not all creamy dreaminess and instead has some Wow!
Refrigerate your cake until your ready to enjoy. Cover and refrigerate any left overs.

The kids are back in school now, football is on TV, and there seems to be cracks in the summer heat wave...so fall must be on it's way.

I think fall is my favorite time of year. I love the color changes, the crisp air, Friday night football at the local schools, and Halloween.
It's so much fun to find a local hay ride and have a sip or two of hot apple cider. I am wondering if South Carolina will indulge me here or if we'll have to find some new fall traditions. What kind of things are on your fall bucket list?

Keep Swimming Finding Dory Candy Bar Wrapper Printable
Keep calm and Just Keep Swimming! What a fun candy bar wrapper for a Finding Nemo or Finding Dory party. Or wouldn't the kids just love it when we go to see the movie? This free printable is quick, easy, and super, super cute.
Despite the fact that we are living RIGHT next door to a movie theater, I haven't had time to go to any movies lately. I do hope I can find time to go see Dory in the next few days. I've heard it's cute and enjoyable even for adults.
With all the stress going on for us this summer, I thought it would be fun to make a candy bar wrapper using Dory and her "keep swimming" mantra for today's addition to the 30 Days of Summer free printable series.
The candy bar wrapper fits a regular 1.5 ounce Hershey candy bar and comes in 3 versions. I decided to add the blank version too. I usually only do that for the Candy Bar Membership club, but you may want to use this cute wrapper for a birthday party or other card alternative.
To use the wrapper, click on the JPG picture file you want to use and save to your computer. Then print it out and wrap around your candy bar. You can follow my directions here or just print, cut, and tape. It's up to you and how much extra work and awesomeness you want to add.

3 Frozen Treats and Dare to Share Saturday
I'm in Texas this week and enjoying time with my family before heading out to South Carolina. I guess that means summer is in full swing, because it is super hot here. I guess that's good because it is drying up all the water all over town that has caused so much flooding, and it gets everyone in the mood for summer for our 30 days of summer free printable series.

Donut You Know I Love You Sticker Printable

To celebrate I'm sharing a 2 inch sticker printable as part of our 30 days of summer series. The sticker is designed to fit the Avery 2 inch Print to the Edge Stickers. I've never had much luck using the stickers. I'm not sure why, but I can never get all of them to line up correctly.
Just in case you have better luck than me, I did use the template to design these. If you're like me, then I just use either the Avery Full Sheet Sticker Paper and a 2 inch hole punch, or the hole punch and my Xyron (yes, that's one of my favorite crafting tools of all time.)
Either way, feel free to right click and save the label printable to your computer. Then print them out and surprise your kids with some yummy donuts today and a sweet I Love You!

Minecraft Kiss Label Printable
Create an amazing Minecraft birthday party with these sweet kiss labels that you can print and make at home. I just love how fun these labels make our favorite characters.
The popularity of Minecraft is completely amazing to me. I think there's something inspiring about a game that is simply made of blocks and squares and yet, has become a household phenominum. My youngest son loves his Minecraft. He will sit for hours (if I'd let him) and build elaborate houses and structures that he proudly shows off.
I think I may have a budding architect in the house. I think it's awesome that this simple game encrouages his love of creating and lets him have so much fun.
We even created a whole Minecraft room for him to build and play in when he's not on the computer.
So along with all my other Minecraft party ideas and printables, I knew I needed to create some Minecraft kiss labels. After all, you can't properly create and have fun without a little chocolate can you?
I never have any luck printing these on to pre made sticker sheets, so I recommend using a full label sticker sheet or using a xyron to make these kiss labels into stickers. To see how I make my kisses, check out my tutorial here.
Mickey Mouse Ears Lindor Truffles Party Treat
Make some yummy party treats for your next Disney party with these cute and easy Mickey Mouse Ears party treats. With just a few seconds of work, you have a creamy, delicious treat to bring Mickey Mouse into the party.
I spent last week at SNAP conference and oh my goodness, let me tell you, they had the most incredible room there. The Lindor Truffle company was there with a roomful of chocolate truffles. Can you say heaven?
I may or may not have stopped in every time I walked by for a little pick me up chocolate treat. After all, how can you not with this many yummy flavors to choose from? I did try the coconut truffle for the first time, and it may be my new favorite. (Don't feel too bad for the white chocolate truffle, I still ate way too many of those.)
I mean, don't they just look like little heads? All I needed to do was add some Mickey Mouse Ears and I had the perfect Disney party treat to serve to my little mouseketeers.
These little Mickey Mouse ears were super easy to create. I used my hot glue gun to glue the truffle flaps back onto the truffle to create a circle head. It was pretty easy to just put a little bit of glue on the ends and push them back onto the truffle.
I think I keep every single piece of scrap paper that I have. (Yes, it's quite the fun storage problem.) So I found a few pieces of scrap paper in the same color as my truffles. I did debate on whether to use black to make the Mickey Ears, but it turns out I hoard my black colors pretty tightly so I didn't have any to spare.
I used my 3/4 inch circle punch and cut out two for the Mickey Ears. I put a little bit of glue on the bottom and stuck it to the top of the truffle.
See how dang easy that was? And talk about a delicious treat to serve at my Disney party. These little Mickey Mouse ears are so cute and fun that I think I'll be wishing I had stopped by the Lindor booth and grabbed a few more. I guess it's off to Walmart instead...I need a little chocolate pick me up right now.
