White Chocolate Fudge Candy Corn Push Pop

I have to admit how TOTALLY in love I am with these Candy Corn Push Pops that I made today.  What makes them even better is that they have Fudge inside.  And not just any fudge, but White Chocolate Fudge!  Can it get any better than that?

They were a little tricky to make.  Not hard, just tricky.

But you'll thank me for it later!

I used 6 cups of white chocolate wafers.  You can use white chocolate chips from the store too.  I just love the taste of these so I use them in almost all of my candy playing.

Place the chocolate in a microwave safe bowl.  Make sure you have alot of room.  I wish I had used a bigger bowl because it made it a little difficult to stir later on.

Microwave on 50% power for 2 minutes.  Stir the chips.  Repeat until the wafers are melted.  Be careful! White chocolate burns very easy and you will not forgive me if you burn that much chocolate since the smell is HORRID!

While your chocolate is melting, place your push pop containers somewhere that you will be able to pour into them without too much trouble.  I used the old printer box that I cut holes in for my Soccer Party last spring.

Once your chocolate is melted, pour 2 cans of Sweetened Condensed milk into the chocolate.  It will get really hard to stir as you get the second can in.  You can pop the mixture back into the microwave for 1 minute on 50 percent power to help.

Your mixture will be pretty stiff when you have it all mixed.

Pour a third of your mixture into a seperate bowl.

Tint the other 2/3 a soft yellow.  Mine took a bit of color, but it could be that I was using the drops.  Not the best for chocolate (gel is better) but it's what I had on hand.

Here's where it gets a little tricky...Take your spoon and scoop out a little bit of the yellow chocolate.  I found it was easiest to wrap the chocolate around the spoon.  Then dribble it down into the push pop.  You want it to be about 1/3 full of the yellow.  Don't stress too much if it doesn't look flat or gets on the side.  It will flatten out as it hardens.  I then took a napkin and wiped the sides clean for the next layer.

While that layer is hardening, take your yellow chocolate and add a bit of red coloring to it until you get a nice orange color.  You will most likely need to rewarm the chocolate to get it pliable enough to play with.

Fill your push pop 2/3 full with orange.  Clean any side drips that you need to.  

Then take the white chocolate that you put aside and rewarm it.  Add it to the top of the push pop container.  It will be pretty forgiving, but try not to overfill.

Now try not to eat the whole batch.

Soccer Team Party Dessert Table

Sorry for the delay in this post.  I had every intention of getting it posted on Friday, but sometimes as a mom life gets in the way.  Daredevil went snowboarding last weekend and cut his face open and ended up with 6 stitches.  Not fun.  But we finally got the stitches out on Friday and had to go to lunch to celebrate.  Then of course, a million other things happened, so it just didn't get done.

But before I went on to the next party, I wanted to show you the yummy Soccer Team party Dessert table that we had this weekend.

We started with this fun tablecloth that I made from a green dollar tree plastic table cloth.  (I didn't think to take a picture of it until after the party was over.)  I had planned to use white electrical tape to make a soccer field on the front, but couldn't find any, so instead I used white ribbon.  I like how cute it turned out.  (Although doing the circles was a little tricky with ribbon.)

Watching over our Soccer field is the Bleacher Cupcake stand that I shared with you how to make.  The cupcakes are yellow cake with chocolate and white frosting.   Then I wrapped the white frosted cupcakes in our Soccer Ball Cupcake Wrappers.

Above the bleachers, I used our Soccer Field Pennant Banners to spell out "Good Game".  It took me the whole party to realize why the pennants looked just a little off.  Finally I realized that I had forgotten to add a center field line to the background design. So I did fix that, but not in time for the party.

To the right of our Bleachers is the Cookie Bouquet nestled in Hershey drops.  I placed the bouquet on a plastic toy megaphone that I found at Dollar Tree for only a $0.25!

On the left side of the cupcake stand is another Cookie Bouquet.  This one is nestled in Hershey Kisses with our Soccer Ball Kiss stickers on the candies.  Once the cookies are all claimed, the candy inside the bouquet can be eaten with ease.

On the right side of the soccer field, I made brownies with cream cheese frosting push pops.  I was trying for the black and white theme and don't know if I totally achieved the look I was going for, but I was told they were SUPER yummy and my kids at least LOVED the cream cheese with the brownie flavor.

I had a HARD time finding a way to display the push pops on the table since I didn't want to go with Styrofoam or such, so I ended up using a printer laser cartridge box and wrapping it in a black tablecloth from dollar tree.  I couldn't find any black wrapping paper, so this worked best.

Then, I cut holes in the top large enough for the stick to go through, but not the base of the pop.  It worked great!  Twelve of the pops sat perfectly and they were easy to get in and out of the box.

On another printer box wrapped in black, I placed our popular Soccer Ball chocolate covered oreos.

Lastly, I placed white cups that I stamped with black dots onto the soccer field area.  I then filled them with popcorn.  This was an easy task that looked super cute when it was done.  Its also a great way for your kids to help.

When the kids were ready to leave, they recieved these fun Soccer Ball Candy Boxes with M&Ms inside to take home.  The tags say"Thank you for kicking around with me today!"

In the end, we had a fun party and the kids enjoyed the fun crafts and sweet treats.

I just love the new craze of having cake shooters at parties.  They are a such a fun way to add something different to your dessert table and a unique way to enjoy a new treat.
